Where do we store the data?

The personal data we collect is securely stored within cloud infrastructure in the U.S. As we operate from the State of Colorado, all data processing is conducted within the United States, ensuring that your data remains secure and compliant with U.S. regulations.

By submitting your personal data, you consent to the storage, processing, and transfer of this data within the United States. Should we need to transfer your data to a third-party service provider, we ensure that your privacy rights are protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and U.S. data protection laws.

How long do we store your data?

We will archive and stop actively using any personal identifiable information about you within 3 months from the last time you used Straum. We will delete your personal data from our archives no later than 1 year from the last time you used Straum or as agreed with you in a separate contract.

Data deletion is managed securely using certified processes to ensure that all personally identifiable information (PII), even in de-identified form, is fully removed after the retention period. Organizations can request customized retention periods to meet specific compliance requirements.
